SAMANTHA MUMBA

A really talented Irish singer (from Zambian father and Irish mother) usually (and wrongly) considered as another  one hit wonder.In fact,the debut (and practically only) album of this young woman is one of the best debut albums in pop music,far beyond the ones of other contemporany singers,like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera,that mixed excellent singles with songs just to fill in.That album make a great succes in Europe and even USA.

Unfortunally,she was fired after the single I´M RIGHT HERE (after the hits GOTTA TELL YOU and BABY, COME ON OVER and other minor singles) didn´t achive the label´s expectations.She was supossed to make a second album,WOMAN,that never was released.In October 2006 appeared a compilation of B-sides,remixes and new songs like I´M RIGHT HERE,titled THE COLLECTION.

In a interview in January 2009 she suggested her new album will appear early in 2010.

We hope this great singer return this year and make us remember the times pop was pop and not dancefloor-oriented music.
